Deze game-portal richt zich op de vrouwelijke gamers. Wereldwijd is 35 tot 40 procent van alle gamers vrouw. En dit percentage stijgt explosief. Van een niet meetbaar percentage in 2003 hebben de, met name jonge vrouwen / meisjes in de laatste jaren het gamen helemaal ontdekt. Het succes van Nintendo’s Wii en de DS hebben een grote bijdrage geleverd aan deze groei.

Er is we een klein probleem. Als je vrouw / meid bent en je wil meer weten over games kun je eigenlijk alleen maar terecht op games-news sites. Die zich allemaal hoofdzakelijk op mannelijke gamers richten. Maar als je dus niet echt geïnteresseerd bent in de laatste first-person-shooter of je wil echt niet weten hoe de ‘hottest E3 booth babes’ er dit jaar uitzien waar moet je dan je informatie vandaan halen?

Met de komst van Game Love Girls is er dus een portal die in deze behoefte voorziet. Welkom dames en wij hopen jullie met nieuws berichten, game trailers en andere informatie helemaal op de hoogte te houden van alle games waar ‘girls’ wel graag meer over willen weten.

This game portal is focusing on female gamers. Worldwide 35% to 40% of all gamers is female (percentages depend on world regions). And this rate is growing exponentially. From almost non-existing in 2003 to this level in only a few years. The succes of nintendo’s ‘Wii’ and ‘ds’ has a major impact on this development.

There’s only one problem: If you’re a woman and like to know more about games…the only place where you can look is at game news sites…which are all focussing on male gamers. But if you’re not interested in the latest first-person-shooter or this years hottest E3 booth babes there’s no where you can go to instead.

Well, at least that was until we launched ‘Games love girls’. A game news portal dedicated to female games and gamers.
